I love her shows devoted to discussions of her book club selection, and now, we can study right along side her by using the Internet and joining her book club ourselves. The Oprah Winfrey Show selects pretty good book club material, so my reader friends and I always read whatever she recommends, and we discuss it among ourselves, as well as joining the discussion groups online.

Right now the Oprah Winfrey Show is reading a book by Eckhart Tolle, called A New Earth. This is a spiritual book about changing our consciousness so that we stop behaving egocentrically, and think of the greater good that humanity must start doing to save this planet. While our physical environment slowly deteriorates, we have to change the way we think and behave in order to shift our old paradigm into a new one that will help preserve and enhance human life, and let go of the old patterns that got us here in the first place.
