Breeders who allow their animals exercise, fresh air, and clean living conditions are more the exception than the rule, thank goodness, but those who practice overcrowding, neglect, and bad sanitation should be stopped. The Oprah Winfrey show concluded that people should stop buying puppies from pet shops who buy from these breeders, and get their pets from the pound to discourage these abhorrent practices.
