As a guy, watching the Oprah Winfrey Show would probably be raising a few eyebrows. To this, I can only say that you are missing out on a great hour of interesting, entertaining programming.

Many guys think the show has a lot of "girly" material and would not concern them. This is a misconception. A lot of material on the Oprah Winfrey Show is hardly ever "girly", and most often involves serious issues. One day I saw a family that had volunteered to have an RFID chip implanted in their bodies, because they felt "safe from terrorists" that way, just to give an example. Sure, there are the tear jerkers about the moms who are trying to lose weight, but that stuff is not on most of the time.

Overall, the Oprah Winfrey Show is a great show and Oprah does a good job of keeping it smooth throughout the program. She always has something interesting to say, and the topics are generally very serious, political or controversial in nature - making it a very mentally stimulating and worthwhile investment of time.
