oprah magazineI’ve never really considered subscribing to the Oprah magazine before. However, I recently read some of the featured articles from the July edition of the Oprah magazine and realized that they really are rather informative.
The featured article from the July edition of the Oprah magazine that I find most impressive is entitled What Men Aren’t Telling Us. This article was written by Chris Abani. His article confirms what I have suspected about men and their mode of thinking for quite a while. However, I cannot help but I wish I’d had that same knowledge about men ten years ago.
According to Abani, when women wonder why men don’t disclose much information about their underlying thoughts and feelings, we forget that they have been conditioned by society to withhold them. Abani also claims that men hold back because of insecurity. The average man worries what his lover will think of him if he reveals himself to her. His concern is that she will dislike what she sees.
If the candid featured article by Chris Abani is any indication, the Oprah magazine is definitely worth reading each month.
