Last night I watched an episode of a new series that is sponsored by the Oprah Winfrey show. Oprah was there at the beginning to make selections of contestants and then give encouragement to the ones she had chosen. I throughly enjoy the Oprah Winfrey show so I was very interested to see what kind of new ideas she would have for this series. Much of an Oprah Winfrey biography could include stories about how much Oprah Winfrey has given to people through the years. She is well known for her generosity and kindness towards those in need. This new series, inspired by the star of the Oprah Winfrey show, is all about giving to people who have specific needs at this time in their lives. It was an excellent beginning to a series that should be full of joy and excitement and the contestants start out on their quest to improve the lives of complete strangers. I watched this new episode with tears in my eyes as those who were receiving as well as those who were giving were moved with emotions. It will be a series worth keeping an eye on.
